Nedd was ritually soaking up the light of the sun as the day begins fading to dusk on the roof of the west tower when Rhea finally located her after returning for the day. Nedd looked embarrassed to be caught at performing this ritual as she breaks the circle and stands from a sitting lotus position, ready with an explanation. Rhea assured the young woman she'd probably ran across odder things in her time and politely waved away a need for any explanation unless Nedd wanted to provide one.
Rhea's main concern was checking up on the young woman, seeing how she was doing after the their memory experiment from the other night. All things considered, Nedd was doing okay and it'd helped that Rhea had been with her to attempt that dive into her memories to look for clues. Nedd expressed her appreciation, feeling as if Rhea had saved her life twice now in the short span of time they'd gotten to know each other. She appreciated the thanks but noted to the young woman that she doesn't keep a score card and Nedd didn't need to either.
Then for a change of pace, Rhea invited her to work on some baking therapy down in the kitchen tonight. The two chatted for a bit while working on making a batch of chocolate on chocolate cookies, a recipe Rhea had from her mother a long time ago. Liam was never far from their thoughts, but the two agreed that he'd been through worse and was as stubborn and impossible an individual to deal with that they would find him in time. Nedd mentioned the Council had even listed him killed in action once and that was far from the truth. Any that have crossed his path had come out worse for wear. It was comfort and they were both hopeful. They'd chat a bit and Nedd would stay up long enough to taste their culinary creation before heading to bed for the evening. Rhea would set the remaining batch out for others to sample before turning to reading, not quite ready to call it a night just yet.
