Elena and Nedd made the short trip to Mac's, the venue where Monty would be waiting to meet with the Council's emissary. As it was Neutral Ground it was the best place to meet and acknowledge someone like Monty without giving them an advantage. Monty didn't seem pleased to see that Nedd had arrived with Elena, having expected only one from the White Council to arrive at this meeting. As a Knight, Elena would respect the accords and so long as everyone remained peaceful in their interactions, there would be no reason for her to act herself.
Eventually they got down to the business at hand, the delivery of the letter to Monty. One from the Merlin himself. Of course, not without a momentary probe at Nedd's seemingly good recovery after such a short time away from the Reds and that incident in Peru. Monty didn't break any rules, but perhaps skirted it slightly as Mac didn't seem impressed anymore than Elena when Nedd experienced a slight reaction to the briefest contact when handing over that letter. He seemed amused, and stated he'd provide his answer at a later time and putting an end to the meeting.
Back at the Castle, Rhea found herself sought out by Alex, who was rather irritated about the fact that Elena and Nedd leaving him behind regarding some meeting with Monty. Not liking the idea of anyone else going missing, as well as wanting to have a few words if the chance provides. There was only one place to logically have a meeting where both parties would be on the same footing, Mac's. If she was wrong, then they'd have to scout the city, but it was likely they'd find trace of them on Neutral Ground. As she and Alex were about to leave, Ken hopped into her car to tag along, and with the time crunch, there was no time to argue. Alex gave a warning to Ken as he told Rhea to head out, and hopefully they'd be able to deal with things later. It was a bit surprising that her old car managed to function well enough and without issue this time on her trip to Mac's, where they'd found Elena's car parked. So for the time being, they'd wait and keep watch. There was only one way in and out of Mac's anyway.
In a limo just a little ways out from the parking lot, Rachel had noticed the arrival of the three and stepped out to socialize with Rhea and the rest. Taking note of a new 'friend' when she'd spied Ken in the back seat of the car. Remaining firm, she restated the warning to Ken as she turned her attention to Rachel to politely respond and hopefully dismiss her from a long conversation with any of them. Though it was around this time that Monty was emerging from Mac's with Elena following behind him. That's when everything quickly fell apart in the sitting and observing plan.
Alex quickly exited the vehicle and confronted Monty regarding Liam and the situation at this time. Elena caught sight of Rhea and her unexpected crew in tow, none too approving of their appearance at Mac's in what should have been a simple errand... of sorts. Alex, unfortunately, was unable to contain his temper with Monty's response and Rachel moved to keep her brother back as Elena moved to keep Alex from doing anything further. Frustrated at it all, Alex stalked off to walk back home leaving Ken and Rhea behind. Before Monty left though, he did leave Elena with some parting information regarding her friend Liam's fate-- his court being under pressure for the lack of involvement since the beginning and making certain Liam suffered for his lack of protecting Delilah. Monty's long lost sister.
Eventually Alex made his way back to the Castle, long after most everyone had returned at their own pace. Ken was found by him in the lounge, well into his current drink after the incident just outside of Mac's. Alex was torn about what'd happened and not certain what to do next currently. Ken asked what would be next and for the moment, there was no clear answer.
