Case File 2018.07.05
Nedd was working in one of the labs, music playing in the background as she worked on a few potions. The scent of apple pie perhaps one of the stronger ones that drifted through the Castle halls. Rhea had caught a trace of the scent and the faint music as she returned from the day's errands, hunting down the source of the oddities until running across Nedd in the lab. Taking note of what the young woman was doing, she offered to lend a hand and start up a little conversation to inquire what current project was being worked on at the moment.
At the moment, Nedd had pulled together three different potions to brew: one for memory, another for speed, and the last for protection. Her thoughts seemed to be a little scattered as she threw in the update about her parents having come to take her home along with the brief explanations on the three potions. The young woman stated that she'd told them there was a need for her to stay, not that they were pleased with this news but they respected her decision. At least the explanation provided left Rhea feeling that she wouldn't be expecting a sudden unannounced return due to a disagreement of viewpoints.
Nedd thanked her for the help prior, and stated her intent to help. One of the potions, the one for memory, being the source of the current idea to perhaps search for clues that might relate to Liam's current missing in action status. She'd planned to use the potion to relive that nightmare week with the Red's to see if there was anything useful to give them a lead at finding Liam. The problem with this method would be bringing up all that pain fresh and to the forefront of Nedd's thoughts. Though, she didn't want to try this alone and wanted someone to keep an eye on her. Familiar with the need for an anchor to keep an individual grounded in some workings, Rhea agreed and told her to let her know when she was ready and she'd be there for Nedd.
