Lachlan and Raina had been covering a fair bit of ground in their own search efforts, however information surrounding Liam was nonexistent. He'd felt as if he'd pushed Raina pretty hard for the last few days now and told her to take the day off and rest before the resumed their own search later the next day. It wouldn't do any good for them to be pushing themselves to the point of exhaustion.
Elsewhere in the city, Alex had tailed a couple that had found interest in the bounty, but apparently they didn't have any real useful information. To distract himself a bit he made his way to Mac's with his guitar case for a little side money and a way to still keep out on the streets. At some point during the morning, Raina made her way over there and noticed Alex. There was unfortunately no real new notes to compare or update regarding the search for Liam. In part needing someone to talk to perhaps, Alex offered to pick up the tab on breakfast for Raina as they entered Mac's to order food and settle in for a bit.
Over breakfast he went over how the White King's bounty on Liam, with the news of the man's situation at lacking access to magic discovered, was something Alex felt more as his fault. Due to his love for a girl that just happened to be the daughter of the former White King and also Monty's sister. The accident that took her pushed the hand of her big brother to more formally take a role in the ongoing Vampire War with the Council. A basic Romeo and Juliet story of forbidden love that'd caused pain for many individuals. Monty promised revenge should anything happen to Deliah and... when the inevitable happened... it may have taken a year's worth of time, but he was making good on that promise now. Alex did have a plan he wanted to try but that would have to wait until later. At the very least the chat with Raina to get some of the thoughts running around in his mind off his chest helped. He'd excuse himself from staying around too much longer, leaving Raina to her day and heading back to the Castle to get some rest.

Juggling a fresh pot of tea and a couple of cups, Rhea makes her way into the study looking for Nedd. Figuring the young woman would like a bit of a break for herself from everything that'd been going as of late. There was still something nagging on the back of her mind, ever since the chaos on the train down in Peru. It was likely the time that it was discovered that Liam himself was without access to magic, but maybe there was something more. She figured she'd inquire with Nedd briefly if possible.
Nedd saw herself as only the support staff, not brave or considering she could do much of what she'd read about in the reports regarding the war. She respects the Wardens for being capable of the tasks she could only equate to valiant knights from a time lost acting on at behest of the Council. Rhea doesn't believe Nedd is just support staff and states as much before asking about The Heretic, that individual they'd seen on the train before they'd escaped. There apparently wasn't much on the individual and few survived that have encountered him. It didn't seem to lead to much to settle her own questions, possibly barking up the wrong tree there. Though... the other idea that might make more sense at going after Monty was still not the best of ideas in mind either.
