MCANALLY'S PUB
Alex was settled into Mac's for a hefty meal before starting the day. Something that included bringing his guitar case with him. It was a little after some other patrons started to trickle in when the familiar face of Raina appeared. Looking a bit worn from whatever training she'd been working at and looking to obtain a hardy meal before getting back to it from appearances. The two hadn't gotten off on the right foot during their first encounter in Millennium Park that night. This time around when they caught each other at Mac's the greeting was by far more civil. It was pretty brief as Alex was heading out to take care of his tasks for the day and Raina needed to get started on the day's training.

THE CASTLE
Liam had been busy getting ready to head out for the evening on a date. Though before he'd head out, there were a few things on his mind to take care of first. He'd checked on Nedd to see how she was doing, seeing her resting again he'd found Rhea in the library. He'd given the brief update and tagged an additional comment that seemed out of the blue-- a discussion of what Rhea would need to wear. There wasn't enough context to piece together what he was talking about, so it certainly drew her attention away from her journal as she asked for clarification. Liam drew out teasing her about this news just a bit longer, but explained that he'd submitted the paperwork into have Rhea both formally and officially recognized as his trained apprentice and a Wizard of the White Council.
The sudden news left Rhea thankful and stunned as he left to make one last stop before leaving for the evening. He noted Alex in the lounge and gave a brief update before bringing up a topic that would be of interest to his more chaotic apprentice. He noted that Alex had been displaying improvement and he'd reconsidered letting him in on information regarding his herritage. Though first they'd have to take steps at improving Alex's mental defenses first, then they could have that conversation. Liam left Alex to think on that as he hurried out for his date, one that he was already a little late to attend.
Gwen was less than impressed at the delay in Liam's arrival at Bavette's Bar and Boeuf. She didn't rise to greet him as he settled in at the table, setting the slim wooden box he'd brought at the table to the side. The two enjoyed a bit of conversation over dinner before attention was drawn back to that box he'd brought to dinner. Something that belonged to Gwen's father, a quill that had been a gift from her mother, and something she'd been hunting for...for a very long time. The gift given for the exchange of time with Gwen that night, when it would have been worth more in exchange if not otherwise stated upfront. This raised questions as to why Liam was doing this. The best answer he provided was that he was trying something new to be a better person. They'd spend more time enjoying each other's company over dinner before he departs to head home, or at least that was the intent.
Meanwhile back at the Castle, a very frantic Nedd was hurrying over to Rhea and setting that book down in front of her with the warning that had woken her from a nap. A bounty had been placed on Liam for half a billion dollars if captured alive by Monty Raith. Correspondence was stating that the Councilor Winchester was with out access to magic, and the warning was for him to remain at the Chicago shelter until an escort arrived. This didn't bode well on any level. Rhea reached out to call Elena as others made arrangements to do what they could to find anything to track Liam or walk the streets the old fashioned way to begin their search. They'd need to find him before anyone else. They'd split up and hit the streets, however activity was already happening as a few of the first responders to Liam arrived just as he departed from his dinner with Gwen.
