The next day Lachlan went to Raina's place to pick her up for training. He was less than impressed with the prior night's turn of events and would be active in correcting such habits in the young woman. Raina was not exactly up and functioning yet for the day, but did her best not to keep Lachlan waiting as she dressed, locked up and met him out front.
During their walk Lachlan inquired about what she knew of the Castle and local Warden for the city. Testing to see if during her time at getting back and adjusted if she'd picked up that much information. Raina confirms she knows the Castle is where the Warden usually stays and that they've spoken perhaps a handful of times, briefly at that. Lachlan's goal for the day currently is to bring her there and hopefully see about getting some help in the young woman's training, even though members of The Fellowship and the Council didn't exactly see eye-to-eye. They were both still allies with a common goal.
Rhea was just about to head out the door when Lachlan rang the bell. Walking outside she saw both him and Raina standing outside. He politely introduced Raina as his trainee and inquired of Rhea if perhaps she could provide some resources to assist in the matter. That was a matter that Rhea couldn't assist with, at least not without an authorization from the Council. She'd assure she'd speak about the inquiry for him, but it wasn't something she could agree to or actively participate in due to the Council's stance on not sanctioning the unauthorized training of practitioners. While the Council wouldn't interfere with a member of The Fellowship working at training, they wouldn't condone her involvement without an okay.
Lachlan didn't exactly like that response from the local Warden. He had Raina show her tattoos to Rhea, in hopes that it might change the situation. While this did provide new information regarding Raina's individual situation, it didn't change the fact that she would have to get clearance from one such as Liam first. That didn't sit well with the man, and he departed with Raina after a short and exchange of excusing their presence to leave Rhea to continue about her way. Lachlan would work with the limited resources available to him regarding Raina's training for the day and leaving Rhea with much to inform Liam about later once returning from errands.
