Alex was working on a song in a quiet area of the Castle when Rhea found him. He felt a little guilty at being caught, shyly accepting her compliment at his music. He'd asked about how things were going with her-- not much out of the norm, but she avoided going into details by keeping the conversation more focused on him, asking if he'd planned to play somewhere. He admits was more of a creative outlet for him, Alex and a buddy of his, Gus, used to rap...so music had always been in his life. It was something fun to do in his downtime outside of training and work...and as he glanced at his watch, that was the other place he'd need to be heading off to soon.
Rhea gave a nod to leave him to pack up the rest of his gear and get ready for work-- heading towards her room, but not before stopping by the study to pick up a book to bring up with her. The study was occupied, as Kenneth was going over some texts in the room. She tried to keep quiet, but not wanting to startle the young man made a brief greeting as she entered and headed towards one of the book shelves. As she was in the process of slipping quietly out of the room, Kenneth turned to greet her and ask how she was doing. Once again not wanting to keep the conversation lingering on herself, she gave a brief reply and asked how his studies were going. Kenneth apparently took to research and study a bit better than Alex. It was engaging for him to learn about what he could do and what might be possible in the future. It was a refreshing attitude to see, and meant there would be less worry of this young man getting tangled up into some of the situations they'd run into as of late.
Hopefully it would remain calm for Kenneth's own sake of learning about his talents. Rhea had caught him just as we was finishing for the night and about to pack up and leave. As much as he'd probably like to spend the night in the study, he still had a normal job to attend to in the morning. It irked her just a bit that she was far from normal, but it'd taken Corvus taking the roof off her her shop to finalize the decision to remove herself from the public life, leaving care of her shop to Ishiko. It probably wouldn't do any favors with her responsibilities as a Warden. It still stung just a little, and she felt a bit guilty that Liam was now in charge of two students because she wasn't experienced enough to handle that at the moment.
