Over the past twelve hours, Gwen had gradually become more alert as she'd turned down the administering of pain meds. It was another short nap later when she focused on Rhea, her posted guard in the hospital care of Liam, and requested a set of scrubs and a wheelchair. Regardless if the question made her seem dense, Rhea wanted to know where Gwen thought she was going-- seeing as she was left to keep an eye on the other woman until Liam and Elena returned. However, as par for the course, things rarely went according to plan. At the mention of Gwen's chauffeur and not wanting to keep them waiting, she could only guess that would be a particular individual she'd not seen since the chaos of their road trip adventures. Despite attempts to stall, she knew there would be little she could do against the power that Corvus held. Rhea helped reluctantly get Gwen dressed in the scrubs and settled in the wheelchair and began pushing her towards the main entrance. She didn't like playing the role of accomplice to Gwen's current escape, stating it didn't have to be this way-- concerned about the other woman's health even if her presence usually meant chaos followed in her wake. Waiting outside was a silver towncar and Corvus, though dressed in...or seeming to be dressed in something more modern. Corvus helped Gwen into the car as Rhea watched on, making only the comment of not letting the other woman tearing her stitches. Rhea couldn't help buy smile a little at the The Captain catching himself in saying 'my Lady' as he had in the past when replying. She watched as Corvus drove off with Gwen, knowing full well that she was going to have to figure out the best way to phrase what just happened. Rhea couldn't go toe-to-toe with Corvus, knowing a bit better since the road trip what he was capable of in a fight. That didn't mean breaking the news to Liam would be any easier. However, she wasn't about to endanger the other lives within these hospital walls-- this wasn't the last time their paths would cross.
