It was after sundown when the young woman Lachlan and Rhea had saved from the Reds finally woke. Disoriented and finding herself bound did nothing to help her response upon fixing her gaze on Lachlan, the fight or flight nature taking over to fight mode as she'd attacked him. He was the only one in the apartment at the moment as Rhea left earlier to tend to other errands for the day. It was no surprise when Rhea finally returned home to see the aftermath of injuries to Lachlan from a scared young woman that had little understanding of what's going on and having the crash course introduction to the supernatural.
Rhea had set food on the table and inquired on the condition of the young woman. No real info was to be had just yet, but Lachlan did inform her that contact with the Fellowhip had been made and someone would be coming to take the girl tomorrow. She couldn't help but wonder how similar this may have been for her own friend Caitlin, trying to push that aside and focusing on the present instead of dwelling in the past. As Lachlan took the break of having someone else present to keep watch as he ate, he mentioned it might help if Rhea stayed at least until the young woman woke to perhaps help keep her calm. The idea of a Warden's presence being by any means calming was a ridiculous thought, regardless she did stay until the girl woke.
The reaction to two individuals, with one being female, did seem to help. The young woman's name was Sara and they got that much before she began to plead for her release. The situation was complicated given her new 'condition' and as Lachlan left to make use of the shower to clean his wounds better-- Rhea had time to try and gently explain the situation. There was still a lot of confusion and it was clear that Sara didn't remember much, likely due to Red Venom, about what happened when going to the bar with her friends last night. She was scared and hungry, but it wasn't the normal type of hunger one might get the next day after a night of drinking.
Lachlan returned shortly after cleaning up his injuries and backed up what Rhea had been able to explain so far. Sara didn't like the idea that she was not going to be let go and able to return to her normal life-- she couldn't until she learned better how to deal with her current condition of only being half turned by a Red vampire. The Fellowship would be able to explain things better and help Sara find a way to resume some kind of life, but right now it was going to be a touchy topic. Lachlan seemed to pick up that the situation touched a bit close to home for Rhea even though nothing directly was stated. He declined Rhea's offer to stay and watch over the young woman while he caught up on more sleep. Rhea didn't press to stay too strongly, but had much to think on once back at the Castle...and more to report to Liam.
