Case File 2017.12.16

Rhea had spent some time stretching out with a few yoga poses before planning to head out for the evening. Though plans changed as she heard Alex's voice call up saying something along the lines of there's that Scottish guy and being armed to kinky reaches her ears. There was only one individual currently that she could pair to that description, Lachlan. She didn't rush in finishing to get read as she made her way downstairs, giving Alex a Look before heading to the door and closing it behind her. She had plans prior tonight, but Lachlan felt it imperative to show her something...and given the statement of needing to be armed conveyed from Alex, it didn't sound like a casual walk in the park. She dismissed his offer to help her with her own plans, not wanting his company regardless, and cut straight to the point in asking what he wanted to show her. The most he'd state before they left the outside porch area of the Castle door entrance was that while Councilman Winchester was an exception, most don't dirty their hands with what he had to show. It was more Warden business. It wasn't hard for him to pick up on her chilly demeanor as un-trusting, Rhea explains its the caution of paranoia that kept her alive-- it'd pass if Lachlan didn't end up backstabbing her at some point. His response to that about him stabbing her in the front if he'd a mind to do so in humor, did not amuse her.

Eventually they left to an area a little ways off, some old church converted into a night club from the looks of the sound and lights emitted from the building. Observing it for a bit, it could be trouble, and Lachlan commented that this place was now used as a White Court feeding location, perhaps six blocks away from the Castle itself. His paranoia adding that it would leave them surrounded when that Court decided to make a more active mood. Also bringing up mention of Rachel's place elsewhere...and while Rhea knew the woman had often stated and took actions to be more friend than associate to herself and others in the past-- she wasn't certain where her alliance fell now, but didn't think she'd cross Monty either. Lachlan was still apparently upset that Liam had blew him off the other night and wanted to make a more visual point of vampires surrounding them-- it was still not Tijuana. Even for his claims of being experienced and in the know she was getting very annoyed with the man. Her demanding question fell short as she started to ask where he was when Rhea could have used his help if things were so dire in this city-- stopping short of going on about Caitlin and that incident. He observed her a moment, and then stated basically he was showing his own observations and that it didn't seem like they were taking Lachlan seriously enough, but he wasn't leaving...but he would rather them coordinate their efforts as one instead of individually. Apparently that wasn't the only place on the tour tonight-- he had located a Red next to deal with, one he'd made point to invite her along to see and assist.

He'd wasted no time in bringing her to the other location, it wasn't too far off...and the man took to a zeal at working his way through the Reds and putting them down without hesitation. At least until he'd gotten to one not yet turned, pointing and calling out 'Innocent' to flag her as one not to kill. When the rest had been taken care of between the two of them, he looked to Rhea to request a temporary stay in the Castle. She already knew that wasn't going to happen, but wasn't going to ignore helping the girl or earn a new lecture from Lachlan by not providing an alternative. She'd spent time enough honing her skills as the Castle's spooky-natural medic that it wasn't like her apartment didn't have any resources at all. Perhaps not all the rarities that the Castle supplies did, but it was still impressive...and stocked enough to handle just about anything. Seeing as she'd become a bit more paranoid with Monty prior to the recent shift in White Court politics-- it kept her mind at ease to have a couple safe houses of sorts.

If Lachlan was displeased to not have temporary access to the Castle, he made no comment. They got the girl and themselves secure in her apartment and Rhea helped to collect from her personal stocks there what he would need to help treat the young woman. As much as she didn't like the idea after night gave way to daylight and she still had temporary guests in her apartment-- Rhea left to allow him to continue looking after the girl while she returned to the Castle to give a new report and pick up a few supplies for her place. She spent more time in the Castle these days than in that place, but it was the better alternative for the time being.
