It wouldn't be long before it would be time for Alex and Liam to have a conversation regarding the prior night's events. Liam had gone through a near death experience in the chain of events of going after Alex after enemies looking for forbidden knowledge in his possession had abducted his apprentice. It had been a touch and go situation, resulting in the alleviation from being unable to walk about in the evening outside of the Castle since the events in Vegas transpired. The talk went about as well between the two as might be anticipated... There was still a bit of distrust mixed with curiosity and that had resulted in chaos on Halloween night. Though with those events, it did reveal that the Heirs of Kemmler were being more active in regards to hunting down info Liam was known to possess. The talk became heated and ended in a short exchange of blows; with Liam leaving to take advantage of being able to move outside at night once more for Mac's.
Rhea had heard some commotion going on and found Alex just as Liam was himself leaving the Castle. Heading to the lounge area, she watched him make a drink while she poked at the recent conversation between the two men. Alex was still in a whirlwind of emotions since Delilah's death...and it made him consider he'd have been better off if he'd never started down this path in the first place. He wouldn't have learned about magic...he would have have loved, or lost... He felt like he was being treated like Rhea and Liam's kid in a sense with their interference in his life. It was clear he was frustrated, and as he ends the conversation, the best he'd state to do for Rhea was let her, and her alone, know where he'd be going...in the meantime he was heading out for the evening.
