Mildred’s apartment was only a few blocks away from where she’d run into Alex so it didn’t take long for them to reach her place. Not huge, but nice hardwood floors and a vaulted ceiling with an expansive view to Chicago— the place would run a pretty penny. It seemed to be just as equally decorated with pricey sculptures…art…and artifacts. She’d invited him in properly by invoking the laws of hospitality. Alex entered as her guest as she offered him a drink while setting the books and notes on the table. He politely declined to cut to the chase at helping her with her research. She questioned Alex on what he really knew since she’d brought him in on the chance that he might actually be able to help, which wasn’t in truth a strong area of knowledge for him. Though he admits that Necromancy could to be worth studying, the potential to save lives. After a short conversation, Alex parts for the night…the objective to bring anything he could find at the Castle that might help with Millie’s study. Though he he would have to be back tomorrow, before sundown. It was important in order to make the attempt at the summoning and he would have to make sure not to be caught. Tomorrow night would be the night.
