The Lion Queen was a massive ferryboat, requiring shuttle boats to bring people to and from the lazily drifting water-bound casino. Complete with several bars and tables of various games for patrons to try their luck. Yet also equipped with a general lounge area for live music for those looking to take part in the ambiance of the Lion Queen's Southern Charm. As much as she didn't like the idea, Alex and Rhea would likely pick up on something if they worked the room separately. She cautioned Alex to keep within sight as he headed for the bar area and she towards the lounge by the stage.
It appeared that The Baroness was well aware that a Warden was in town...mistaking perhaps Alex as one when teasing him about drinking while on duty. Engaging him in conversation the woman's words seemed to strike quite directly to the core of Alex's pain he'd been keeping to himself since the incident that took Delilah from their group. The woman pried more into who she was but not speaking of Gwen as Alex had suspected-- somehow she could tell there was another. He couldn't keep from speaking Delilah's name to her...and a tell-tale feeling he recognized when being fed from drew out his other half to counter in part what was going on between him and The Baroness. Skavis, a cousin to the Raith, had a curious and subtle method for a White Court to feed. Even still, Alex felt a bit tired from the energy that had been sapped from him...mixed exhaustion and an odd relief of sorts. Though as she released him as he requested, making it seem as if nothing had really happened to those that couldn't really see beyond the surface appearance-- Alex would take his leave of the bar.
Rhea didn't like the idea that eyes were already on her as she entered the lounge, but rather than move away she took a seat right next to the individual that'd zeroed in on her presence. Politely asking if the seat beside was taken before seating herself and engaging in conversation. It didn't really gain much for her other than confirming that it was perhaps a bit more known to Council presence in town than might have been expected. Either word traveled fast or there had been other means the information had gotten around as it had. She'd tried to play it more low key and naive, but that wasn't going to fly with Jack. He'd already pegged her as a Warden of the White Council and there definitely individuals from Red Court in town that wouldn't take kindly to her presence. It didn't take long to get the hint it'd be best to move on...nor to notice that Alex needed to leave as well. The two joined back up to head off back to the mainland and wait for another fanboat to take them back to the Elizabeth House.
