It'd taken a good bit of the day to get a ride to speak with Freddie Bones. After dinner last night, it was the only lead they had regarding Gwen. Once in town Liam confirmed as much as he could from what Miss Lizzy had stated the night before with his historian contact within the Council...Nedd Starling. She couldn't quite confirm the information but could state it was very plausible and likely the Fount was protected by a Genius Loci. The three found Freddie working on a boat at the docks, stating immediately that he couldn't help them...figuring they were going after The Fount. Not exactly...it was more Gwen who it seems was after The Fount but the man stated he'd told her much the same. He didn't have a mind of leading people looking for The Fount to their death...the people meant to find it find it and that was all there was to it in his mind. It was apparent they weren't the first to approach him on that topic, but even stating they were looking for Gwen specifically didn't provide any more help. The only Gwen the man knew he'd met about a decade ago but given Liam knew she wasn't exactly human...she wouldn't have changed since then unless she'd made the Choice to become human. The only real lead Freddie gave them at that point was that the last time Gwen was in town she'd stayed on the Lion Queen-- a casino on the water. As the conversation ended, the next target would be the Lion Queen...however the sun would be setting soon and Liam needed to find shelter. Liam was the only one that couldn't go with due to the setting sun, but that did mean Alex and Rhea could go on ahead to do some form of recon. Not that Rhea liked the idea, and Alex was not in the mindset to sit idly by for another night-- it also seemed more like Liam was assigning her to keep an eye on him to boot. So...as much as her gut was telling this was not a great idea, Alex and Rhea would be heading towards the Lion Queen. Liam would make his way back to the Elizabeth House and Miss Lizzy.
