MOBILE, ALABAMA
It was mid day when Rhea and Alex arrived at the USA Medical Center to find out what'd happened to Delilah and Liam. Though...there were other individuals present before them interested in at least one brought to the facility, as Alex would soon find out... Rhea was able to confirm that Liam was in the ER and Delilah was currently in the OR-- she had Alex hang back for any updates, knowing he'd want to see her as soon as she was able to do so. In the meantime she slips back to check in on Liam, who was just working at getting out of bed, fully conscious from when she'd last seen him. She caught him up to current events, until seeing the aftermath of the chaos...Rhea herself hadn't known Delilah was injured badly. The RV was a wreck, and she did well to even survive being trapped in that twisted metal. Alex and Rhea hadn't taken too much of a beating, but they were far from being in prime shape. She left Liam to check for Delilah in the OR and catch up with Alex while Rhea focused on getting them a new method of transportation.
Meanwhile, in the lobby, Alex was unable entirely sit still, so took a moment to get a get well gift of flowers for Delilah before attempting to sit and wait. It took a moment before he recognized another figure in the room waiting with him, Monty Raith. The conversation was tense as it started, both not liking the state Delilah was put in...but Monty was going to see to things being taken care of properly now. Alex didn't like that this distant relative of hers was making decisions for her, and the conversation began to get heated. It probably didn't help any when Delilah's camera was tossed in Alex's lap with the statement about him never seeing her again...regardless of the outcome today. Monty, was done with the White Council...and probably just about everything associated with them. That escalated to the point of an angry Monty gripping Alex up by the throat and launching him from the three story window...which luckily there was a lower roof below so he'd only fall one story before impact. By the time Alex recovered and made his way back in to search for Monty...he'd run into Liam. By the time either of them found out any information on Delilah she was gone...along with Monty. No one knew where she was... This didn't bode well by the time Rhea returned with a vehicle to find the other two. Who knew what Monty had planned now for the three that'd failed to protect his youngest sister.
CHICAGO, ILLINOIS
IHop...as the International House of Pancakes has become known over more recent years-- a good place for a decent breakfast, and apparently those of the supernatural spectrum find it a good place to get a meal as well. That...or it was the only place still open as Buddy needed to eat and recharge from the prior use of energy. Plus, it gave Elena and Asher time to talk about the situation. Apparently the child's toy entity had quite an appetite...and without the usual restrictions of a more human body or metabolism-- devouring the amount of carbs and sugar would be enough to give a diabetic pause just looking at the spread. Between breaks in eating, Buddy stated that what might have caused the scene at Henry's place was a mystery. A Fright like the boogieman wouldn't have been able to hurt the adults...not unless a guardian or 'comforter' as Buddy put it broke the rules. That's something the unicorn Ginger wouldn't have done...and as a guardian, their powers come from their kids. It got Elena to thinking and wondering if perhaps there was something special or unique about Henry...something that might cause this incident. Buddy may be a retired guardian, but Ginger's death hasn't been the only one... Dingo from the Lawrence, MA area had been killed...and the kid Nicky was found dead three days later, no visible injuries, just lifeless. It gave something for Elena to check on, to see if she could find out other info on the incident surrounding Nicky, maybe they could find a link. Hopefully in time for Henry to be found before he could end up like the other child.
