As soon as the sword was drawn, the initial fight came to a pause. The doll, Buddy, demanded what a Knight of the Cross was doing with a demon like Mauriel…pointing towards Asher. For a child’s toy…and a guardian, according to Asher…the doll certainly wasn’t shy about dropping any F-Bombs throughout the conversation. Buddy blaming the death of Ginger, the unicorn doll guardian, on Asher and suspecting that he’d killed Henry’s parents and made the child go missing. Elena tried to reason with the doll and state they should work together to find the real culprit behind this crime scene. She’d even held out the Sword to show Asher could touch it…knowing she’d witnessed him actually hold the blade once before— Asher declined, not feeling it was a good idea with the other aspect close right now. That didn’t bode with reasoning with the doll, however the raised voices and yelling drew the attention of another young child from another apartment. Henry’s friend, Aaron. The presence of the young child defused the current fight as attention and care was now focused on the four year old. Elena and Buddy got the young child back to bed, the doll soothing the boy back to sleep before returning back to the hallway. Buddy wasn’t pleased that Elena had made a promised for the both of them to bring Henry back safely…and as much as he disliked Asher’s presence— the three formed a tentative truce to find the young boy missing from the crime scene of his murdered parents.
