Relief, odd as it might sound with the lifeless form of Mambo Jenty still in the room, spread through as Brigitte departed. In answer to Rhea’s question, James states that they need a Priestess in order to continue the ceremony and Farrah may be able to help in this case. Speaking to Farah only confirmed that, but she unfortunately was in no state to be able to fill the roll. However…another could be taught to perform the ceremony if they could handle the amount of Power that would be required to manipulate during the process. Even before all eyes started to focus in on her, Rhea could tell that she was the best candidate in this situation— she didn’t hesitate to volunteer and gathered what was needed with Farah to go to a quiet bookstore to study and prepare for the coming event. That left Liam and James to take care of Jenty’s body and to figure out what was going on…Rhea had just made herself the next target by putting herself in the position of continuing the ceremony. Crash course in part religion and Voodoo was not likely to prevent whatever had taken Mambo Jenty’s life from coming after Rhea once more.
Meanwhile, back at the hotel, Alex and Delilah had sat for a short time to level out the frustration and emotion rolling about in her system before going out for food. They’d ended up at some fried food joint to sit and have a meal. Lightening the mood a bit, Delilah had snapped a picture with the small vintage 35mm camera of Alex…and eluding to possible evidence of a passed out young man in a bagel on from a prior night. Noticing the camera, he wanted now more than ever a picture with himself and Delilah. Together. Happy. Though that hormonal drive of the young man offered up the idea of a clothing optional picture…and a mischievous experiment. The idea was, politely shot down, it was just too dangerous given the fact that her Hunger drew off lust. Bringing back the thought mentioned prior in the RV before they’d stopped…perhaps there might be some kind of a potion or something to help. Packing up the rest of the food, they’d return back to the hotel with items to potentially craft a potion.
