The pending marriage between James and Rosaline, due to the two being children of Loa from rival tribes, was a classic Romeo and Juliet story...with a twist. This union however wasn't exactly favored by other groups, as the recent attacks and the death of the previous Adjutant would attest to currently. The continued line of questioning to James didn't last long-- it was rather disrupted by the brick that sailed through the window with a note tied by a lock of Lucy's hair landed on the floor. Crocker was being called outside, they all knew this wouldn't bode well. He wasn't about to let his friend suffer so left, with Alex following close at hand. Rhea and Delilah were left behind, but not for long...neither were going to sit this out...and it was when the two caught up to events outside that the situation escalated. Probably aided by the fact that Delilah launched a brick at one of the three men present with Lucy as hostage and then charging with a follow-up attack. From there the fight dissolved into chaos, with the warlock that'd joined this party losing his head over the matter...literally. In the aftermath...James had helped Lucy to get the bodies of those that hadn't survived loaded up into the warlock's van to be disposed of while the rest regrouped inside the safety of the hotel once more. Delilah spent time patching herself up, or the Demon side of her did at any rate. Alex was pissed about the fact she'd been injured and in harms way...placing most of the blame on Rhea. James joined Alex downstairs for a drink. Rhea kept to herself, focusing on trying to heal and recover...especially after that interruption. As well as to set aside for the moment what she'd just done out there in the streets, it was the first time she'd used her blade to take someone's head...and if Alex wasn't careful at how he threw his ability around-- she didn't want to finish that thought. She wanted to focus on recovery.
