In the aftermath of recent events, both Liam and Alex were left the worse for wear due to their own individual encounters. Liam having gone toe-to-toe with a Godling minotaur and losing a limb in the processs...Alex having the soul sucked out of him by a succubus-- both leaving marks and outside of the death part, Alex's encounter might have been more entertaining. For the moment, with the dust settled and Liam able to move once more, Elena and Rhea were called to regroup in Alex's room...seeing as the young man was still the worst for wear and had yet to recover enough himself to be mobile. Liam announces that Alex's third match is considered done and that all that's needed now is to notify his sponsor to renegotiate the terms of their arrangement-- that including being done with fighting and free to go from Wanderland. Of course this didn't settle with with Alex, protesting that they still need to help Delilah, regardless of the fact that she's a White Court Vampire. She being as much a prisoner here as Alex himself. Between the other three, Alex reluctantly accepts that he's just going to have to do what he's told and asks Rhea to find his sponsor to start that process. It's not that Elena, Liam or Rhea were trying to be mean about the situation but right now their likelyhood of extracting themselves without further complications or injury grows smaller the longer they stay in Wanderland. Liam goes to deal with other matters while Rhea looks for her former apprentice's sponsor as Elena turns in for the night-- tomorrow this should all be over and they'd be able to get safely home behind the Castle walls.
Or...it would have if not for a short time after Alex finds himself with yet one more guest this evening, LaDragos. It wasn't Gwen as he'd been expecting as he sees just who he'd invited into his room now. Vaclav LaDragos had decided to pay a visit to young Alex and offer him a deal. He would put Delilah up for a bit if Alex were willing to sit at Kismet's Table-- a life for a life. At first Alex rejects, but LaDragos states there's major players this night and if the young man doesn't show up with his token provided as his wager and invite to the table...he'd put Delilah up for bet anyways and there would be many interested parties willing to have a chance at winning her. After LaDragos departed, it took the better part of an hour before Alex made up his mind to take the man up on the wager-- sparing just enough time to leave Rhea a note regarding his absence when returning with Gwen, and then he'd head out of his room and down to Kismet's Table.
