After a brief exchange, Elena accepted Delilah's invitation from LaDragos to join them at that private booth. The man was immaculately dressed and pleasantly courteous as greeted her. Introducing herself as 'Parker' to play this game a bit further out in hopes of getting information. However, whether it was not just the man not wanting to play her game or to flex a display of knowledge, Vaclav LaDragos...or Vac, called her out on the lie. He knew she was a Knight and that in just a few hours she'd changed her name from 'Drake' to 'Parker' apparently and carried the sword Fidelacchius currently disguised as a yellow umbrella. Elena didn't let it show if the sudden reveal of what Vac knew about her and instead cut to the heart of the matter to inquire about a missing friend. Vac, amused, couldn't help but inquire as to how Elena managed to come about the information lead that brought her to Vegas. Suppling a truthful answer without stating names was all he got in return, but that didn't stop the other man from further displaying he knew more about her than she realizes. He'd made casual comment about an event that took place at the Gates...outside of her, only those involved knew about that. Or so she'd thought. That left the two of them at a stand still currently, leaving the only thing Vac could offer was advice before they part ways. Which sounds odd on the surface, to anyone not familiar with the curiousness of the supernatural side of life. Elena listened carefully and afterwards politely excuses herself, ending their conversation. Upon leaving LaDragos' place, Elena walks outside to follow those odd directions, seeing where it would take her next.
Rhea and her guide, Gwen, moved quickly through the city until coming to a set of double doors that...at first she couldn't believe it, took them to Wanderland. The place was amazing...not like any of the other casinos she'd passed while on the streets of Vegas-- glitz, glam, diamonds and gold...genuine mirth in this place. A different vibe than the other places. The place was far larger than one would suspect even from the view just at the front door. Stretching out a ways with multiple floors-- various tables and machines that appear carved of wood or stone...the lights hanging above with dancing dewdrop fairies... It was quite a sight...as well as the man by the door greeting them both, Sterling. He looked human enough but it was clear he was definately more than appearances. Gwen apparently knew him as well and made polite introductions between Rhea and the man...noticing that there was more warmth to her tone than prior in the alleyway. If after introductions she'd not already suspected, Gwen only confirmed that Sterling was Wanderland's host. Sterling seemed amused that a Warden had found their way to his door and being a good host welcomed her to Wanderland. The reputation and the fact she was being so easily identified as a Warden before she'd even stated such was a bit troublesome to her. Being welcomed as a guest was a bit of relief inwardly, especially within a place that had quite the strong supernatural presense that most mortals dismissed for flashy costumes or just didn't care. Sterling expressed a modest condolence regarding the mentioning of searching for a missing friend when Rhea had stated she was just passing through on personal business. She didn't want any trouble and didn't feel like pretending she was in the city for official Council business. The host of Wanderland advised there are a few formalities while staying as a guest within this place. It acted very much like Accorded neutral Ground, something she was already used to from her time at Mac's but it was the second part that gave her pause. While no individual is required to make a bet, collateral is required so that all who enter are in a sense as equals-- refusing this would close Wanderland's doors to her. She was too keenly aware of particular items of interest that would be of value...and after a careful inquiry to clarify what counts-- Sterling pointed out that the Anchor itself would meet the requirement of the most valuable thing in her possession. The fact that he knew of it in the first place made her uneasy, she'd only spoken of it with Elena...not wanting to draw too much attention to the artifact. He assures it's a formality and that the Anchor would be held securely with the rest of the collateral claimed upon entering Wanderland...as an equal...until she decides to leave. Hesitantly, knowing from what Sterling stated he was clearly informed so a switch wouldn't work-- Rhea hands over the Anchor for safe keeping during her stay within Wanderland. Corvus' reflection flickers for a moment in one of the gold pillars as the temporary trust of this exchange took place with The Anchor. Vegas was as far as he could go and apparently even within the boundries of Wanderland he was unable to manifest. Afterwards, she found herself escorted to what would be her room during this stay.
