France. A long way from the Windy City itself…Liam is regrouping with Jason, the curious individual he’d found in the aftermath of ruins and a destroyed village in Ireland. It seems that Mara had property within the area that was suitable for his needs. The current one being getting to know more about the Witcher who’d been in stasis for many many years. The best idea currently was to have a ‘historian’ and long time association of Liam stop by to chat with Jason and perhaps shed more light to the mystery surrounding his past and the absence of knowledge recorded within the Council regarding one such as himself. Gwynedd Starling, or Nedd for short, arrives and almost immediately starts to interrogate the man about what he knows to compare with what she’s read or learned— each new bit of info leading to more and more questions…
