Last night remained quiet…at least relatively quiet for those within the Castle. However even that brief respite did not improve the mood or worry. Giving a bit too much time for Alex to contemplate his situation and some time for Rhea to research and work with Rhodanthe a bit more since recovering some personal reserves. The drain from healing is taxing and unnatural by known accounts, but her’s wasn’t…normal. The rest of the night she’d spend with more Warden duties until the next day and taking Alex out to the warehouse to let him blow off a bit of steam and show him a bit to learn how to better defend himself and focus his energy with better effectiveness. Whatever favors Mab may call in might put him in direct line of something nasty and depending on the Winter Queen’s whim…it might be likely to kill him rather than accomplish a goal for her. Either way it would be in Alex’s interest to better learn to make the most of his limited energies as he stretches and builds those magic muscles and can defend himself. That only being one of the concerns to check of Rhea’s list, she’d meet up with Ishiko to see about keeping an eye and spreading word to keep other practitioners more wary and aware about the rise in abductions. Her friend and owner of Firefly Jewelry would be less threatening or scary looking than a Warden to get the message out there. She just hoped that it would drum up enough awareness that they could manage until more help to deal with the Fomor abductions could arrive…and in case she didn’t survive the pending encounter with the Naagloshii.
