Unfortunately a new day only revealed to Alex that last night’s encounter with Mab had not been just a bad dream. For the time being the Castle was quiet as tensions continue to grow with recent events. Rhea does her best to take care of some side business and bring back a meal for the group to help raise some morale after last night. Alex looks lost as the weight of what happens starts to settle in mind and Rhea does her best to assure him they’ll figure it out together and that he still has the ability to make choices even given the current situation. Mab was their problem as much as Alex and he didn’t have to face it alone. In the brief moment of calm she’s able to inform Alex of Luna’s condition and the possible danger that’s been attached to her somehow. It only leaves him frustrated that it appears there’s nothing that can be done right now and there’s more to work through and little time as the full moon approaches. Elsewhere, the young practitioner Jameson is called in to have a second look at an unexplained death of a university student found just the other day. Meeting up with Karen Shaver at the morgue they look over the lifeless body of Nora McAlester for any clues that were missed. Nora was found by the cleaning staff in a hotel room with no marks or noted traces to her death physically visible or in tests. What mundane science couldn’t see, it was suspected that young Jameson with a running reputation for discovering things missed on difficult cases might shed light to the young woman’s death. He did find trace of an attack, but not something that could be easily explained…magic and the supernatural surrounded the death of this girl and trying to explain what his talent reveals leaves more problems than answers currently.
