Rhea, in all the awkward missteps of seeing a mirror of her own brash self, does her best to make amends the following day with Alex. Working to compromise at changing their prior working arrangement and filling more of that need to learn as well as advising more control. Distrust between Alex and Rhea still sits in his mind, leading to a lesson and seeking an additional teacher through Lucas. The peace and quiet after that night wouldn’t last as a sudden surprise visitor with a demand for a Wizard and tracking magic pounds on the door. The spell leads to Luna, bound and near death in an abandoned church…and surrounded by Skinwalkers. Be it through dumb luck, over confidence…or something else— Lucas, Rhea and Kali (the mysterious visitor pounding on the Castle’s doors) manage to rescue Luna from her current state of imprisonment. Since the escape from the Naagloshii in the church, Luna is left to Rhea’s care to begin mending and patching her up from the severe damage inflicted upon likely more than just the physical body. Throughout the working Kali maintains vigil over her friend. Recovering from the night’s recent events, Lucas catches up with Rowe and Alex— also learning that Rachel, a member of the Raith White Court Vampires, just happens to be part of the reason this new temporary sanctuary functions. Not a comforting fact, but there were other concerns at the moment…Luna’s health and the Naagloshii after them.
