The holidays— well…any particular day most mundane people observed tend to mean a different thing completely to those in-the-know within the supernatural community. Rhea held her breath waiting for all hell to break lose on Christmas Day and draw her out to fill her role as Warden…and it passed by quietly… That meant everyone took the day off on the supernatural side or someone else took care of what might have struck the city. It felt odd to have a quiet moment to have a chance to exchange gifts or contemplate the holiday itself— it didn’t last long. Between rough nights for the Warden and the constant hot-and-cold tempers between Rhea and Alex…it feels like a powder keg ready to burst. Which happens…just not in a way expected. Intercepted by the good Captain Corvus, also Rhea’s companion and partner in crime when working to clear out the more nasty spooky-natural things to protect mortals, a new issue occurs. A mixed pain and conflict in duties result in Rhea, Elena…and two stowaways by the names of Alex and Victoria…board a ship to meet a most certain doom. A mysterious island out in the middle of Lake Michigan and …a monster too horrible and terrifying to describe emerging from the deeps. If not for a chance appearance by a long old friend to both Elena and Rhea— subduing the Dagon would have been…impossible?
