Modern day Chicago. People move in and around the city unaware of what lurks in the shadows. The stuff of fairy tales and dreams are real…though on the edge of perception depending on what people believe with many people choosing not to believe. Many of the creatures that one can’t even begin to imagine exist tend to be part the cause and effect of the many unsolved and unexplained mysteries in town.

 

For those willing to peek beyond the veil to see into that unknown find mysterious forces within those shadows working to keep mankind as a whole unaware of supernatural presence within the city. One such group being the White Council of Wizards and their magically inclined Warden enforcers. Whenever such paths cross…it’s not always a comfortable encounter…

 

There’s a reason those with a quirk of talent or an embodiment of magic be they human, Fae, Vampire, something from Nightmares or even of a Celestial nature come to the Windy City. Chicago smells of power…and death. Most of all, it smells of magic.

The White Council of Wizards finds itself pitched in a war against the Vampire Courts, a war which has moved from cold room temperature. The balance of the world is being pitched ever towards chaos, and even the Sidhe Courts of the Faerie Realm are not untouched by the unfolding tensions.
